Problem Note 57535: Slow performance might occur when you run an SQL query against SAP HANA tables using a LIBNAME statement
When you are running SAS/ACCESS® Interface to SAP HANA, an SQL query submitted against SAP HANA tables might run slowly.
A potential workaround is to use PROC SQL pass-through instead of using the LIBNAME engine.
A hot fix is available with SAP HANA system version SPS08 or later for possible performance improvement.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
